AgileRadioCom Publishes White Paper: "Why Wireless Fails First"
Our latest white paper examines why wireless communications frequently represent the initial failure point in autonomous and connected systems. It covers large-scale measurements and that they show the wireless hop can dominate round-trip latency and introduce long-tail delays under contention and interference. In distributed control, jitter and burst loss can be as harmful as outright outages.
In contested settings, spectrum and navigation denial are increasingly common. Open-source analysis of the war in Ukraine highlights GNSS jamming as a persistent vulnerability, and observers have reported UAV interruptions linked to GPS interference. Survivability requires explicit contracts for timing and reliability, plus closed-loop adaptation between autonomy and communications.
